artistic-anarchy.net?

The domain name came from the Samurai Champloo episode of the same name. I had many domain name choices, one was rideonshootingstar.net but it was a little too long. So I desided to settle on artistic-anarchy because 1.) it's one of my favorite episodes, 2.) it flows, and 3.) Great domain for a professional Layout business if I do say so myself!

The domain was purchased Augest 19th, 2005 by my mom from GoDaddy and is hosted at GoDaddy.

a-a.net was my first ever domain. Before I got this, I used every free host around. I even wached some turn into pay hosts and delete my site right before my eyes...After the 100th time of this happening, I got tired of it and I wanted my own host.
At first I looked up how to make my own server, but I didn't know it required alot of work. So I asked my mom if she would pay for a domain name and a host for me. She had always had the idea of getting me one to showcase my computer skills, but she refeused. After a few hours of "persuading" and talking to my dad, she gave in a bought me one. Though My ideas for domain names kept changing while we were trying to register it...she didn't like that much -_-; . But a few minutes later we both settled on Artistic Anarchy and all was right with the world (Even if she had no idea where the name came from.)

Now that we had the domain name, I tried to find a host. This was harder then it looked. for the simple reason was that I never delt with pay hosts nor did my mom want to pay more then maybe $70 a year. But after coming up nothing...my mom desided just to host it on godaddy aswell...even if it went a little over her budget.

Well anyways after all the trouble, the main site finaly made it to the internet on Febuary 24, 2006. Even if the domain did just start off as a host for my fanlistings and fanlisting collectives.
